Booking & Rates
Contact us through our website or email to inquire about availability. We'll discuss your preferred dates, interests, and any special requirements. A deposit secures your booking, with the balance due before departure.
Rates are per person and are for double occupancy. Forward cabin rate is $3650 pp while the aft Stateroom rate is $3,850 pp so yacht average is the $3,750 pp. Single occupancy in a cabin is subject to 50% surcharge. 4 guest minimum. Inquire for exclusive, whole yacht rate if you desire fewer than four. The Deposit of 50% is not refundable within 90 days of your booking date, but is transferable to another party for the same dates, or held for your own use on a future date in the current, or following year season. Deposit is due upon booking, or March 1st, whichever is later. The final 50% is due by the day of boarding.
Trip Planning
No sailing experience is required! Captain Jon handles all the sailing, though you're welcome to participate as much or as little as you'd like. Many guests enjoy learning the basics and helping with sail trim, hoisting and reefing.
Raven's Dance was built for 6-10 passengers, but we limit our charters to a maximum of 6 guests to ensure a comfortable, intimate experience with plenty of personal attention and space. We typically book 4 guests for a premium quality experience.
Southeast Alaska weather can be unpredictable, but our flexible itineraries allow us to adapt. The protected waters of the Inside Passage offer plenty of sheltered sailing. The boat features a cozy pilothouse and 50,000 BTU diesel heating, so you'll be comfortable even on rainy days.
Pack layers, waterproof outer layers, sturdy shoes for shore excursions, and a sense of adventure! We'll send a detailed packing list after booking. The boat has limited storage, so soft-sided bags work better than hard suitcases. For muddy shorelines, bring rubber boots--the favorite brand in Alaska is Xtratuff. They are of excellent quality and value.
